JOHNSON CITY – On Dec. 19, Heath Stokes, a 54-year-old resident of Johnson City, was apprehended by officers of the Johnson City Police Department at 10:45 a.m. and charged with sexual battery.
Following a report from a female alleging that Stokes had forcibly touched her in a sexual manner without consent, officers conducted an investigation into the incident. Subsequent interviews corroborated the allegation made against Stokes.
Stokes is currently detained at the Washington County Detention Center, with his bond set at $10,000.
