Paving project to cause lane closures on West Oakland Avenue
JOHNSON CITY – Paving and milling on West Oakland Avenue between Ultimate Shine Car Wash (304 W. Oakland Ave.) and Guaranteed Appliances (204 W. Oakland Ave.) will cause lane closures Wednesday, Dec. 20, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Work will continue Thursday, Dec. 21, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until completed. Only one lane will be open at a time. Flaggers will be present to instruct motorists.
Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits for their safety and the safety of workers.
