Keystone Free Will
The Rev. Bill Greer, former pastor, will return to Keystone Free Will Baptist Church, as special guest, preaching at both services Sunday. Services will be at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Sunday morning service is also livestreamed on Facebook.
Sunday School is at 10 a.m.
The Rev. Tony Birchfield is pastor.
Keystone Free Will is located at 110 Bettie St., Johnson City.
First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have Sunday worship at 9:45 a.m. Oct. 8. The sermon and Sunday School lessons correlate with each other in this study.
Bible study is held Wednesday at 6 p.m.
On October 15 at 6 p.m. there will be a benefit concert for Kids Against Hunger, which will feature Carson Peters and Iron Mountain. Admission is free, however, a love offering will be received for Kids Against Hunger.
First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box may call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.
Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have a guest speaker at the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. Preaching will be the Rev. Gary Cavin of Kingsport.
Pastor Donnie Harris invites the public to attend.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both online and live worship Sunday at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “Breaking the Cycle” based on Deut. 5 and Matt. 1.
Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
First Presbyterian is located at 119 West F St.
Immanuel Baptist
Immanuel Baptist Church will have a fall festival Saturday, Oct. 21, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kiwanis Park located across from the church at the intersection of West G Street and Carter Blvd.
There will be food trucks, family fun, and live music.
The public is invited.
Carter Christian
Carter Christian Church will have a craft fair Oct. 20 and 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
The craft fair is sponsored by the Ladies Aide of the church and will feature holiday and home decor, arts and crafts, canned goods, green beans, relish, honey, homemade spring rolls, and sweets.
The church is located at 1765 Highway 91. The public is invited.
First Free Will
Homecoming will be held Sunday, Oct. 22, at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton.
Services will begin at 10:45 a.m. and will feature Phillips & Bank singing group.
Following the service, lunch will be served in the fellowship hall.
All former members as well as the public are invited.
