Surrounded by loved ones, Donna Marie (Smith) Page, 69, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away July 10, 2023 at Johnson City Medical Center from an extended illness. God has answered our prayers and opened his loving arms and brought Donna home. She is all healed now and her loving smile and laughter will be missed.
Born February 6, 1954 in Elizabethton, Tenn., Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Crawford Alexander Smith Sr. and Rita Marilyn Wild Smith; a sister, Sherry Bowling (Larry); a brother, Crawford Smith; a sister-in-law, Susan Smith; a niece, Tammy Arrowood; and her mother-in-law, Harriet Ruth Page.
Donna was a 1972 graduate of Unaka High School and attended ETSU. Donna’s entire 40-year work history was in warehousing and logistics, which she excelled in. She started with Unisys and when they closed, she went to Fingerhut. From there she went to HSN, where she finally retired.
Donna was always known for her love for her many animals and for her family. She loved to go camping and fishing at Watauga Lake. She loved her vacations with her family, especially to Disney. Donna would never miss a chance for a crab dinner or gumbo at her Mom’s. There were special times that she and her sister went out monthly and Vickie was always able to make Donna laugh, even with her declining health.
