Teresa Louise Humphrey Shipley went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 6, 2023, at home with her loving husband and other family members in Manchester, Pa., after a courageous fight with cancer.
Teresa was born in Carter County, Tenn., where she lived until 1989 when she moved and lived the rest of her life in Manchester, with her loving husband Steve Shipley of 23 years. Teresa earned her CDL license in 1992 and made a career of driving for companies in the Pennsylvania area.
Teresa was preceded in death by her son, David Alan Carr, and stepson, Jason Shipley, as well as her father, Steve William Humphrey, and sister, Stephanie Lorraine Humphrey.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Steven Shipley; stepson, Jared Shipley; four grandchildren, Alexis, Kadin, Conor and Isabella; her mother, Sandra Russell Humphrey Roberts of Hampton; her brothers, Alfred Humphrey (Tonia), Roy Humphrey (Apryle), and Dewayne Humphrey (Amanda), several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many special friends.
Teresa will be laid to rest beside her son, Alan, in Pennsylvania on Friday, July 14, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc. (Manchester, Pa). Receiving of friends will begin at 10 a.m. with services with a funeral following at 11 a.m. Graveside services will follow the funeral service.
