EPD: Teenage juvenile dies; another arrested in Friday night shooting

Elizabethton police officers responded to a residence at the 1300 block of Broad Street on a report of a person who had been shot on Friday night at approximately 10:45 pm. According to the release, officers found an unresponsive teenage juvenile that had been shot and began performing lifesaving efforts until relieved by EMS, who determined the victim had died.  After the initial investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident, a teenage juvenile has been arrested in connection with the shooting.  The investigation is continuing and there are no threats to the community regarding this tragic incident.
