Motorcycle accident claims the life of Carter County man

A motorcycle accident that occurred around 7:20 pm on Saturday claimed the life of a Carter County man. According to a release from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2003 Suzuki GSXR100 was traveling east on State Route 361 when the motorcycle entered a skid and laid down on its side as it approached the intersection of State Route 362, Mary Patton Hwy. The motorcycle slid through the intersection and struck a guard rail post. Justin McClemons, 34, died as a result of the crash.
