JCPD seeking help in identifying murder suspects

The Johnson City Police Department is seeking help identifying two murder suspects. The incident took place on June 2, 2023, at approximately 12:55 a.m., officers of the Johnson City Police Department responded to a death investigation at the Roadrunner Market, 408 N. Broadway St. Upon officers’ arrival the clerk was found to be deceased. According to the release, the death has been determined to be a result of a homicide during the commission of a robbery and the investigation is ongoing. Photos of the suspects were taken from the store’s surveillance cameras. The Johnson City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects. Area residents and businesses are encouraged to review their surveillance videos from Thursday, June 1 and Friday, June 2 and notify JCPD if the suspects appear on their videos.
