Nancy Calloway, a resident of Ivy Hall Nursing Home, celebrated her 85th birthday Friday, June 2. Her husband, Kenneth, surprised her with a visit Wednesday from Elvis impersonator Eli Williams, who performs daily except Wednesday and Saturday in Pigeon Forge. Needless to say, it was a surprise that brought smiles to Nancy’s face as Williams serenaded her with Elvis tunes. Nancy in earlier years had attended the Elvis concert at Freedom Hall Civic Center, and had met him at the airport where her husband worked. She has been a resident of Ivy Hall for approximately two years, and is visited daily by her husband. Also, several friends showed up to share the mini Elvis concert with her Wednesday.
