JONESBOROUGH – Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Teresa Williford, 57, of Telford, and charged her with aggravated assault on May 23.

Deputies responded to a call in the 100 block of Browning Road regarding an altercation involving a firearm. Williford allegedly became irate with her landlord and waved a loaded gun at the victim. Deputies quickly located Williford and retrieved the loaded firearm.

Williford was transported to the Washington County Detention Center without incident and is being held on a $10,000 bond. Her first court appearance is scheduled for 1:30 p.m., May 24.
