Wandell Early Learning Center Easter bonnet parade

What few clouds that greeted the Thursday morning sky in downtown Elizabethton soon melted away as it was once again time for the Wandell Early Learning Center Easter bonnet parade on the sidewalk of downtown Elk Avenue.
Many parents and grandparents lined the streets to watch their child pass by in the decorative Easter bonnet while downtown merchants also stepped outside to cheer on the parade of smiling children many of whom were shouting Happy Easter to those who had come to take in the parade.
The children began their parade at Southern Restaurant and walked to the Covered Bridge where they got back on their buses for the ride back to school.
It was another magnificent parade the children from the Wandell Early Learning Center put on.
