Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., (276-466-0026) will hold a Fish and Chicken Meal at 4 p.m. Music will be provided by Dennis Crawford, “Harlan County Grass” from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The Center has been having great attendance, fantastic food and wonderful bands! Come early and enjoy a great evening with friends at Boozy Creek. Door prizes will be given away by Cathy Baker. For more information, call (423) 323-5266.

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) will meet at First Baptist Church, 212 East F St., Elizabethton. Weigh-in begins at 5:30-6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings. • Saturday, March 18
The Northeast Tennessee Master Gardeners and Sycamore Shoals State Park will host a gardening seminar series at the park community room. The seminar will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until noon and is free to the public. The topic of the March seminar is Vegetable Gardens, and those attending will learn how to grow vegetables to maximum yield with the least amount of effort. Pre-registration is required.
