Happy Valley graduate receives 40 Under 40 Award from UT

The University of Tennessee-Knoxville recently held a ceremony to recognize the Volunteer 40 Under 40. The university recognized forty alumni under the age of 40 who have excelled personally and professionally since completing their degree at UT Knoxville. Among those honored was Jessica Lenden-Holt, an Elizabethton native and 2001 valedictorian from Happy Valley High School.
Jessica Lenden-Holt is the Chief Clinical Officer for Sidekick Therapy Partners, the largest pediatric therapeutic practice in Tennessee, serving almost 4,000 kids in clinics and schools with over 170 employees. Lenden-Holt was a Whittle Scholar and earned two Honors Bachelor’s degrees from UT in 2005 in Spanish and Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Texas-Austin in Communication Sciences and Disorders with an emphasis is bilingualism in 2007.
Lenden-Holt is the VP of Legislative Affairs for the Tennessee Association of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. She has nine published articles related to the field of speech-language pathology and is the Chair of the Philanthropy Board for ETSU’s College of Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences.
She has co-founded and served on two nonprofit boards serving children with disabilities.
