Robert “Bob” Mann, 70, Elizabethton, passed away, Sunday, November 20, 2022, in the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Fillmore & Grace Cable Mann. Bob was a graduate of Hampton High School. He was a retired truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Cathy Sue Mathes Mann, who passed away August 15, 2021, two sisters: Dorothy and Margie and one brother Reno.
Survivors include two Children: Melissa (Lucas) Hester, Johnson City and Scott (Amber) Mann, Hampton. Five Grandchildren: Caleb Blackwell, Justin Blackwell, Caitlyn Blackwell, Taylor Mann and Sebastian Mann. Five Great Grandchildren. One Brother: Pete Mann.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2022, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Bentley officiating Music will be provided by Anita Patterson. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Roger Lunceford and James “Shadetree” Matherly. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of 2300 Wing, Johnson City Medical Center, for the excellent care our dad received.
