We are saddened to announce the passing of Cory Dillon Tinker, affectionately known as “Tink”, 36, on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Johnson City Medical Center. He was born January 10, 1986 to the late James L. Tinker and Annette Charlene Church.
Cory was an avid outdoorsman who often enjoyed hunting and forging in his beloved mountains. He was known for his love of old trucks, especially Chevrolet, along with his endless talent for fixing just about anything. Those left to mourn him will remember him as a loyal friend and loving son with a sly grin that lit up a room and a “tell it like it is” attitude that was often unmatched.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Annette Church of Hampton, Tenn.; uncle, Zane Church of Hampton, Tenn.; special friend, Chad Olliver of Hampton, Tenn.; along with family and numerous loved ones in the community.
To honor Cory’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.huxlipfordfh.com
Professional services for the Tinker family are being provided by Hux & Lipford Funeral Home, 300 West Main Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
