Ms. Myra Denise Hale, 56, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Wise County, Va., and was the daughter of Jesse “Buck” and Nina Hale.
Myra was a Nurse in Labor and Delivery for 21 years at Johnson City Medical Center and a Nurse Practitioner at Medical Care in Elizabethton. She was also a Hospice Nurse Practitioner as well as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for multiple nursing schools. She had a servant’s heart, always going above and beyond to help others.
Her passion for the Cowboys and TN Vols was unequaled except for her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Myra is survived by two daughters, Whitney DeeAnne Hollifield and Caroline Alexis Arze; two brothers, Shane Hale and Travis Hale; one aunt, Kathy Willis and husband Ralph; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 7, at 7 p.m. at Boones Creek Christian Church with Minister David Clark officiating. A reception will follow.
