Pearce Chapel
The Edwards Family will be at Pearce Chapel Free Will Baptist Church for a song service Sunday at 6 p.m.
The church is located on Gap Creek Road in Hampton.
All are invited.
Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have special preaching from a son and father Sunday, Oct. 9.
Preacher Johnathan Sams will speak at the 10:45 a.m. worship service and Preacher Eric Sams at the Sunday evening service at 6 o’clock.
The pastor, Donnie Harris, invites the public to attend.
Long Hollow Baptist
Gospel singing will be held this evening (Saturday) at the Long Hollow Missionary Baptist Church at 4 p.m.
Featured singers will include Joel Crisp, Earnest and Goldie Hicks, and Sounds of Victory.
Also, Pastor Appreciation for Pastor Everett Garland will be celebrated and birthdays for the month of October will be celebrated.
Following the service refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall.
The church is located on Sims Hill Road in Valley Forge.
Immanuel Baptist
Aunt B’s Clothing Closet at Immanuel Baptist Church will be open Saturday, Oct. 15, beginning at 9 a.m.
The clothing, which is free, will include men, women, and children’s sizes.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both an in-person and online service Sunday at the 11 a.m. service.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will preach a message entitled “A Servant Heart” based on II Cor. 8: 1-15.
Adult Forum and Youth Group will meet both in-person and online.

New Liberty Free Will
The Rev. Kagan Young will preach Sunday at both the 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. worship services at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
Everyone is invited.

First Christian
Sunday, Oct. 9. First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will begin a new series with the Sunday School lessons and the sermons coinciding and following the book by Max Lucado entitled “You’ll Get Through This.”
Wednesday, Oct. 12, a new study series will begin entitled “12 Extraordinary Women” by John MacArthur.
Services on Sunday are at 9:45 a.m. and Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Watauga Baptist Assoc.
The Watauga Association of Baptists will have its fall meeting Thursday, Oct. 20, at Dungan Chapel Baptist Church, 104 Jim Deal Road, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The guest speaker will be Dr. Clay Hallman, TN Baptist Mission Board President.
Siam Baptist
Siam Baptist Church will have its 149th homecoming Sunday, Oct. 16.
Trunk or Treat will be celebrated Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. with candy, games, food and fun.

Grace Baptist
Grace Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming Oct. 23 with Gale Hartley preaching at 10 a.m. The church is celebrating its 151st anniversary.
Hartley grew up in Grace Baptist, has served with the International Mission Board, and currently serves as pastor at Bethany Baptist Church in Mountain City.
Travis Tyler is pastor.
