Roan Street Free Will
An old-fashioned revival will be held Sept. 18-23 at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church, 820 N. Roan St. (Blackbottom). Services will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday and at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Worship will be led by evangelists the Rev. Frank Woods and the Rev. Terry Richardson.
Special guests will include Roan Street singers, Monday; the Harris Family, Tuesday; Sunset Free Will Choir, Wednesday; Roan Street Church, Thursday, and the Montgomery Family, Friday.
The pastor, Donnie Harris, invites the public to attend.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 West F St., will have both an in-person and online service Sunday.
The Rev. Brian Ellison will present the sermon “Creative Accounting” based on Luke 16: 1-9.
Adult Forum and Youth Group will meet in person and online.
First Christian
First Christian Church will continue its sermon series “What the Church Needs Now” at Sunday morning worship, Sept. 18.
Minister Michael Klaus will present the message “Godly Men.”
First Christian has services at 9:45 a.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The church is located at 513 Hattie Ave. and the public is invited.
Doe River Baptist
Doe River Baptist Church has elected Jeff Harless as its new pastor. He and his wife, Orlena, and three sons, Malachi, Parker, and Benson, were welcomed with a fellowship meal following the morning service Sept. 4.
Beginning Sept. 23, the church will have a three-day revival. Pastor Jamie Ferguson will preach at 7 p.m. Sept. 23; Dr. Allen Davis at 7 p.m. Sept. 24, and Pastor Harless at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 25.
Wednesday, Sept. 28, the church will have its food pantry in the church parking lot at 6 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 30, the church will have a fall festival, including Trunk or Treat.
CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. at the Carter Christian Church.
Dr. Eddie Fine, retired minister at Downtown Christian Church, Johnson City, will be the guest speaker.
All men are invited.
Central Community
Central Community Christian Church will have a fall festival today, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Activities will include inflatables, cake walks, apple butter, chow chow, bake sale, concessions, hot fudge cakes, fresh market, and basket raffle.
Everyone is invited.
Sinking Creek
Sinking Creek Baptist Church is celebrating its 250th anniversary Sunday at 10 a.m. Proclaimed the oldest church in Tennessee, the congregation originally met in a small long church, which is still standing.
Chosen Road will sing at 10 a.m. and there will be streaming messages from Gov. Bill Lee and Randy Davis, President and Executive Director of TN Baptists, State Senator Rusty Crowe, and others.
The Rev. Chuck Babb is pastor.
Borderview Christian
Borderview Christian Church, 1338 Bristol Highway, will have its 10th Annual Night of Praise Sunday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m.
The Borderview church family will present their varied talents in this exciting night of worship.

New Liberty
The Rev. Bill Greer will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
The Rev. Wesley Duncan will preach at the 6 p.m. Sunday service.

Union Hill Free Will
Sacred Journey will sing Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 125 Lane Hill Road.
Following the service a covered dish luncheon will be held in the fellowship hall.
Sunday School is at 10 a.m.
