Carter County Health Dept. hosts open house to meet new breastfeeding counselor

The Carter County Health Department will host an open house Aug. 15 to Aug. 19 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. daily for breast-feeding moms, especially, to meet the department’s new breastfeeding peer counselor, Jeanie Dills.
Jeanie works with the department’s WIC nutritionists to encourage and support breastfeeding moms in the local community. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and first-hand experience.
So, if you are a first-time mom or a mom who is or has breastfed in the past, you are especially invited to come by and say hello to Jeanie.
The health department is located at 403 E. G St.
