Bruce White is hosting an early 95th birthday celebration for his mother, Ruth White, on Saturday, July 30, at First Free Will Baptist Church.
There will be a gospel concert of vocal and instrumental music at 1:30 p.m. followed by a birthday celebration at 2:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The event will be catered by Simply Elegant Bakery in Elizabethton.
The concert will include vocals by Grady and Alecia Holder and instrumentals by Cyndie Leimbach, flutist; Ryan Eggers, saxophonist; and Scott Reynolds, pianist.
Ruth is a long-time member of First Free Will Baptist and is presently residing at Ivy Hall Nursing Home. In addition to Bruce, she has a second son, Lee.
All her friends are invited to attend.
