100 plus and enjoying another Fourth of July

Mrs. Joda Ollis and Mrs. Helen Fetzer, both 100 plus years old and residents of the Waters of Roan Highlands Nursing Home, enjoyed another Fourth of July last Monday and reminisced about the past. Joda (left) is 107 years old and lived in Roanoke and Lynchburg, Va. Helen of Elizabethton is a retired educator and is 103 years old. They recently reminisced about Pearl Harbor, FDR, and other major events in their lifetimes. Joda and Helen have a combined age of 210 years of love and wisdom and enjoy living at the Roan Highlands facility.
