The Roan Mountain Spring Concert Series 2022 will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Anderson Community Park. Performing will be Mountain Rose, a local favorite and one of the top bluegrass bands in the Tri-States area. Their unique stage show and presentation is guaranteed to impress folks of all ages and background. You won’t want to miss this. Bring a lawn chair, spread a blanket, pack a picnic and come enjoy an evening on the Roan.
The 30th Annual Andes/Potter/Trivette Family Reunion will take place at Roan Mountain State Park, picnic shelter #3, beginning at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon. All family members and friends are invited to attend.

Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., will hold a Fish and Chicken Fry at 4 p.m. In addition to fish and chicken, the meal will include lots of fantastic sides, a large variety of desserts, and drinks. Music will be provided by “State Line” from 5 to 6:30 p.m. For more information, call (423) 323-5266. Note: An “Elvis Extravaganza” is planned for Saturday, July 16.
