A 96th birthday celebration was held on June 2, 2022, for Beatrice “Bea” Hughes Carr at the Hermitage Health & Rehabilitation Center in Elizabethton.
Beatrice was born on June 3, 1926, and is a lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was married to Edward T. Carr in 1945. They had one daughter, Carolyn Carr Price.
Bea has one grandson, the late James “Jimmy” Price, and a great-grandson, Aaron. She is also the great-great-grandmother to Abel, which she loves every minute of.
She is one of the oldest members at Keystone Free Will Baptist Church in Johnson City where she was very active until she broke her hip at the age of 94. She currently resides at Hermitage Health & Rehabilitation Center.
The birthday celebration was a wonderful get-together of relatives, friends from church, and others that came out to make her birthday a wonderful and special occasion for this ever-special lady.
