Administrative changes made in Carter County School System on Friday

The Carter County School System announced administrative changes which will be effective for the 2022-23 school year.
Jason Hartley will serve as a K-5 Math Specialist for the district. Hartley has 21 years of experience in education and has served as the Principal of Keenburg Elementary School for the last 15 years.
He holds an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S) from Lincoln Memorial University.
Doug Mitchell will serve as the Principal of Keenburg Elementary School for the new school year. He earned his Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S) at Lincoln Memorial University and has 35 years of experience in education including 10 years of administrative experience.
He has served as the Principal of Happy Valley High School since 2019.
Dr. Paul Blair, currently assistant principal of Happy Valley High School, will assume the role of Principal at Happy Valley this fall.
Dr. Blair holds an Education Doctoral Degree (Ed.D.) from Milligan University and has 10 years of experience in varying roles including both elementary and secondary education.
