A State Certified Security Guard Class will be held at 135 Keenburg Road, Elizabethton, on Saturday, June 25, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The class is taught by State Certified Instructor Ken Potter.
The class will cover armed, unarmed or renewal for those who need renewal training. Some of the topics taught include use of force, active shooter, and report writing. Also included is firearms training. Applicants are required to qualify on the weapon they will carry in their functions as an armed security guard. This training is required before a license is issued to the applicant.
