The post-season stunner so far in any bracket of softball play came on Monday.

Morgan Patterson’s Happy Valley Lady Warriors who failed to win a conference game in regular season saved their best softball for the tournament knocking off West Greene in a 10-9 thriller.

Picking up 13 hits to go along with the 10 runs, Happy Valley was led at the plate by Laura Rice who collected four hits in the contest. Reagen Street and Ella Marvel added three base knocks as well.

Aleah Grindstaff added a pair of hits.

Marvel and Rice took care of the pitching duties for Happy Valley as Marvel went five innings allowing five hits and five runs while Rice covered two innings allowing one hit and four runs.
