The City of Elizabethton is excited to announce a big addition to the 2022 Covered Bridge Days festival week. On September 21 and 22, the first Covered Bridge Days Kickoff concert series will be held at Elizabethton High School’s Citizen Bank Stadium.

These ticketed concerts will bring stars and an experience like never before to Elizabethton. Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. May 5 at the following link https://www.etix.com/ticket/v/24749/elizabethton-high-school-citizens-bank-stadium. Tickets can be purchased for each individual day, or as a two-day pass.

On Wednesday, Sept. 21, Crowder with special guest Big Daddy Weave will take the stage. Crowder is a three-time GRAMMY nominee with over 3 million records sold.

He’s currently on the Milk & Honey tour, named after his latest album, which includes the new hit single Good God Almighty.

Big Daddy Weave is responsible for hits like My Story, Redeemed, and The Only Name (Yours Will Be).

Thursday, Sept. 22, Kip Moore with special guest Dylan Scott will be featured for an evening of great music. Kip Moore is responsible for hits like She’s Mine, Somethin’ bout a Truck, Beer Money, Last Shot and Pretty Girl.

Dylan Scott will be familiar to concert goers for songs like My Girl, New Truck, Can’t Have Mine and Hooked.

The Covered Bridge Days festival itself will continue September 23-25. Arts and crafts, marketplace, and food vendors will take over Covered Bridge Park and the third block of downtown.

If interested in being an arts and crafts vendor, please visit www.coveredbridgedays.org to get an application. Kid’s Island will once again offer a variety of activities for kids including free inflatables, magic shows, a foam party, character meet and greets and much more.

Great entertainment acts will take the Covered Bridge Stage all three days and those acts will be released at a later date.
