Pauline Reguero Carr, 76, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022, at Signature Health Care of Elizabethton following an extended illness. She was born October 12, 1945 in El Monte, Calif., to the late Jose Velasquez and Mary Delores Acero Reguero. She had lived in Elizabethton since 1978.
Prior to her illness, Pauline was Director of Activities at The Life Care Center. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved working with crafts and painting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Lee Carr, who passed away August 10, 1996, and two brothers, George and Joe Reguero.
Survivors include her children, Anna Conrad and husband Jim Caldwell of Chattanooga, Tenn., Michael Carr and wife Melissa Carr and Bob Carr and wife Kelly Carr, all of Elizabethton; her grandchildren, Ashley and Joseph Conrad, Jordan, Adam, Elizabeth, Joshua and Hanah Carr, Lucas and Jacob Carr, Logan and Dylan Carrier and Patrick and Dana Carden; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ernest Reguero and Mario Reguero and wife Dawn.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery (Historic Section) with Pastor Doug Hinshaw officiating. Active pallbearers will be Lucas, Jacob, Jordan, Adam and Joshua Carr and Logan Carrier. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:45 p.m. Thursday.
