First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have a worship service Sunday at 9:45 a.m. on the front lawn of the church.
There will be special parking on Hattie Avenue for individuals who would prefer to stay in their cars.
The worship service will be posted to Facebook at 8 p.m. on Sunday.
The public is invited to join the church congregation as they celebrate the Risen Savior this Easter.
Michael Klaus is minister.

CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, April 18, at Pinecrest Christian Church.
Greg Key, minister at West Side Christian Church, will be guest speaker.
All men are invited.

Zion Baptist
Zion Baptist Church, 1982 Gap Creek Road, will have its annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at 1 p.m. There will be activities for all ages.
The Easter SONrise will be held Sunday at 6 a.m. after which breakfast will be served.
The adult choir will present the musical “Calvary’s Love Story” at the 11 a.m. worship service.
There will be no 9 a.m. or 6 p.m. service Sunday.

Willow Springs Baptist
The public is invited to attend and celebrate the Risen Savior Sunday with the congregation at Willow Springs Baptist Church.
The choir will present “Redeemed By the Blood of the Lamb” at the 11 a.m. worship service.
Dr. Kenneth Jordan is pastor.

Grace Baptist
Grace Baptist Church will have a sunrise service Sunday at 6:45 a.m. at the Wilbur Dam Visitors Overlook.
Following the service, breakfast will be served in the fellowship hall.
Sunday School is at 9 a.m. and a combined worship service at 10 a.m.

Sims Hill Christian
Sims Hill Christian Church will have a sunrise service Sunday at 6:30 a.m. outside, weather permitting. Breakfast will follow.
There will be no Sunday School, with a worship service at 10:30 a.m.
There will be no evening service.
Everyone is invited to the services.

Oak Grove Christian
Oak Grove Christian Church will host Dove Award winning singer-songwriter Mitch McVicker in concert Sunday, May 6, at 7 p.m.
The church is located at the intersection of Powder Branch Road and Jim Elliott Road. A love offering will be received.
Jeff Curtis is Oak Grove’s minister.

Valley Forge Free Will
Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church will have a sunrise service at 7 a.m. Sunday followed by Sunday School at 9:45 a.m.
At 10:45 a.m. the congregation will celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with the Praise Choir leading worship and Pastor Randy Johnson preaching.
The public is invited.

First United Methodist
Elizabethton First United Methodist Church will celebrate the ministry of its pastor, the Rev. Ray Amos, and his wife, Pat, at 2 p.m. April 24.
The afternoon service will include music and memories followed by a reception. Rev. Amos has been in the ministry 47 years, the last 11 of which have been at First United Methodist. He will be retiring in June.
The public is invited.

Roan Street Free Will
The Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will celebrate Easter Sunday with Sunday School at 10 a.m. followed by the worship service at 10:50 a.m.
Special music will be presented at the worship service by Henry and Emily Volk with preaching by the pastor, the Rev. Donnie Harris.
Sunday evening service is at 6 p.m. and the Wednesday service is at 7 p.m.
The church is located at 820 N. Roan St.
Everyone is invited.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have an in-person and online worship service Sunday, April 17, at 11 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present a sermon on John 20:1-16 titled “Resuscitation or Resurrection?”
Adult Forum, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will all meet online this week. Adult Forum and Youth Group will meet in person.
The church is located at 119 W. F St.

New Liberty
A sunrise service will be held Easter Sunday morning at 7 a.m. to kick off the church’s celebration of Christ’s resurrection from the grave.
The Sunday morning worship service will begin at 11 a.m. with music by the church choir and Pastor Rev. Nick Colbaugh delivering an Easter message followed by the baptism of three individuals. Everyone is invited to attend this special Easter holiday service and support the baptismal candidates.
The church is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
There will be no evening service.
