William Clayton “Will” Miller, 74, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his residence. He was born February 7, 1947, in Elizabethton to the late Edward & Florence Palmer Miller. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Will was known as a handyman who loved doing home improvements, plumbing and mechanic as well as other things. He was a loving husband, daddy, brother who was always there for his family and friends. He loved playing the Guitar. He was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife: Karen Martin Miller. One son: William Shane Miller of the home. One brother: Mitchell Miller & wife Rebecca, Elizabethton, one sister: Patsy Davis, Mt. Olive, North Carolina, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Martin, II and Chaplain Chris Hughes officiating. Music will be provided by Jennifer Martin. Interment will follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Mitchell Miller, David Martin, George Kaucher, Todd Troutman, David Holsclaw, Howard Puckett and Gary Hughes. The family would like to express a very special “Thank You” to the Staff of Amedisys Hospice for all the special care he received and also the Prayers and support of his family and friends to many to mention. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.
