Bobby Gale Richardson, 75, Johnson City, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Hillview Health Center.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Howard and Marie Williams Richardson.
Bobby was a 1964 graduate of Unaka High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Bobby was a retired brick mason. He loved to travel. He was a Christian.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Jason Richardson.
Survivors include his brother, Gary Richardson and friend, Carol Lynch, one nephew, William Richardson, one aunt, Pansy Watts, and two uncles, Dock Williams and Wayne Williams, all of Elizabethton.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, November 18, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. R.L. Poole officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Military Honors will be provided by the Veterans Honor Guard, DAV39, Bluff City. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Joy Humphreys, Janice McKinney and Becky Mann for the excellent care he received during his illness, and also the Hospice Staff and the Staff of Hillview Health Center.
