Teddy Marshall Pruitt, retired Navy Veteran, 80, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2021, at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; his mother, Madaline Stuart Pruitt; his father, Jess Pruitt; and his sister, Doris Anne Manuel.
Survivors include his sisters, Coleen Jones (Jerry), Teresa Pruitt, Anita Odum (Paul) and Lynn Pruitt (Lorrie); his brothers, Jr. Pruitt (Shirley) and Daffy (David) Pruitt; his daughters, Pam Bullins (Rex), Sheila Pruitt and Julie Dugger (Tracy); and his son, Teddy Pruitt Jr. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and one great-granddaughter also survive.
Services will be held on Monday, November 1, at 2 p.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery (215 Heroes Drive, Mountain Home, TN 37684), located in the Veterans Administration Campus in Johnson City. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Monday.
