GymDog, a premier dog training business in the City of Elizabethton, is getting in the spooky spirit this Halloween by hosting an event that all canines and owners can enjoy.
“Since we opened, our goal was to build up a sense of community in the area for all those who bring their dogs here,” said owner James Manning.
As part of that effort, the business is hosting a Howl-O-Ween party on Sunday.
“This is going to be a fun filled event where we will have prizes, musical chairs, a tricks contest, and a pie eating contest which will all be for the dogs in attendance,” Manning said.
Any dog that is vaccinated and friendly is welcome. “It’s going to be a fun time for everyone to come out and relax and enjoy themselves,” Manning said.
“While people are free to show up to this event without registration, we have created a Google form on our GymDog Facebook so people can sign up for a competition in advance. However, people coming to the event can sign up when they show up on Sunday.”
GymDog is located at 715 North Lynn Avenue in Elizabethton and their Howl-O-Ween party is scheduled from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday. Anyone seeking more information on the event can call GymDog at (423) 426-2729.
