John Robert White, 56, died at home on October 8, 2021, following a brief illness. He was born December 17, 1964 in Elizabethton, Tenn., where he lived most of his life.
John was a member of Pierce Baptist Church in Butler, Tenn. A welder by trade, John was most recently employed at Whitehead Construction. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his parents, Margie White of Taylors, S.C., and David White of Miami, Fla.; one sister, Teresa Looney of Ridgefield, Conn.; three children, Rusty White and April White of Elizabethton and Kristen Dickens of Butler, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Braden, Riley, Isabella, Wyatt and Aubrey; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brother, David White; stepdad, Billy Joe White; and step-brothers, Tony White and Mickey White. His longtime companion, Alice Charlton, died October 14, 2021.
