The Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County will postpone the annual Steak ‘n’ Burger that was to be held on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 6:30 p.m. at Elizabethton High School. Due to the rise of COVID-19 cases, especially in children, the Club feels that it is in the best interest of all to postpone the event until 2022. Shelly Parham, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County, said, “After serious deliberation and board input, the decision was made to postpone our event until we felt it was safe for everyone to attend. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our kids, guests, and staff.”

The Boys & Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County will continue serving kids safely after school Monday-Friday.
