Southside Free Will
Southside Free Will Baptist Church will have homecoming Sunday, August 9.
The Lighthouse Gospel Singers will sing at the 11 a.m. service after which lunch will be served.
Everyone is invited.

Morgan Chapel
No Name But His will present special singing Sunday at Morgan Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The service will begin at 11 a.m.
The church is located at 1782 Ripshin Mountain Road.
The pastor is the Rev. Greg Whitehead.
Unaka Baptist
Services are held each Sunday at Unaka Baptist Church. Bible study is at 9:45 a.m. followed by morning worship at 10:45 a.m. The Sunday evening service is at 6 p.m.
Wednesday evening services consist of Bible study and prayer meeting at 7 p.m., Children’s Classes (first through fifth grade), and Youth (sixth through 12th grade).
Everyone is invited.
Praise Gathering
cancelled due to COVID
Due to rising COVID-19 numbers, the Praise Gathering, sponsored by the Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship, will be cancelled.
The joint worship service was planned for Sunday at Borderview Christian Church.
The next Praise Gathering will be in 2022.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 W. F St., Elizabethton, will have an outdoor service in the church yard Sunday at 11 a.m. The service can also be viewed online.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will preach the sermon, “Carrying On,” based on 2 Kings 2: 1-14.
The Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays With Jesus will meet online this week.
