First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, offers an in-person worship service Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in addition to a live radio service on 90.5 FM in the church parking lot at the same time. Worship services will be posted to Facebook at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Following morning worship, Bible school will be held for all age groups.
Also, weekly Bible studies will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall.
First Christian Church in cooperation with Ballad Health and Second Harvest Food Bank will offer free Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccinations in the church fellowship hall Friday, July 23, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, July 20, at 7 p.m. at First Christian Church, Elizabethton.
Guest speaker will be David Siebenaler, minister at Valley Forge Christian Church.
Men in area Christian churches are invited to attend and bring a friend.
Elk River Baptist
Elk River Baptist Church, located on Highway 321, Butler, will celebrate homecoming Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. A covered dish meal will be served following the morning service.

Roan Street Free Will
In-house services will be held Sunday at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church with Sunday School at 10 a.m. followed by morning worship at 11 a.m. Chris Shanks will be preaching at the 11 a.m. service.
Everyone is asked to wear a mask on entering and exiting the building, and follow social distancing guidelines.
The public is invited.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both an in-person and online worship service Sunday at the 11 a.m. service.
The Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt will preach the sermon “The Power of Myth and the Violence of God” based on Gen. 22: 1-14.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays With Jesus will meet online this week.
