Some people opted to purchase reserved seating tickets behind home plate for Monday evening's game, even though the River Riders were giving away general admission tickets for free. River Riders box office staff member Marybeth Peters hands both their tickets and change to Suzanne Barker and Ron Mardin for the evening's game against the State Liners of Bristol.
There is nothing like taking advantage of America’s favorite pastime in watching a live game of baseball — with the smell of fresh popcorn and grilled hot dogs waffling through the air and the sound of a baseball hitting the leather or clunking off a bat.
