Lisa Dugger Johnson, 55, Roan Mountain, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born May 29, 1966 in Johnson City to the late Bob and Shirley Potter Dugger.
Lisa was a graduate of Cloudland High School. She was a homemaker.
Lisa loved animals. She was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church, Elk Park, N.C.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Johnson, who passed away December 2, 2014; a brother, Bobby Dugger; and a sister, Jean Benefield.
Survivors include her child and son-in-law, Kim and Randall Ratliff; a sister, Sandy Blair and husband Ray; a brother, Lester Dugger and wife Julie; her special friend, Lisa Poole; her fur baby Angel; her cat; and several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, in the Dugger Cemetery, Dolan Hollow, Roan Mountain, with Pastor Brian Blankenship officiating. Active pallbearers will be Kim Ratliff, Randall Ratliff, Josh, Jeremiah, Luke Dugger, Brian, Jeremy and Michael Blair. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Dr. Bridges and nurse Casey, Dr. Tumkar and nurse Myra and her team. Friends may visit with the family at the residence of her sister, Sandy Blair, Roan Mountain. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday.
