Janet Sue Rosenbaum, age 69, of Johnson City, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 19, 2021, from the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Janet was born in Elizabethton to the late Ronald and Ada Elliott Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Rosenbaum; two children, James Ronald Parlier and Roy Heath Parlier; a brother, J.C. Robinson; a sister, Hazel Beatrice Bryan; and her special dog, Jasper.
Janet was a sweet, hardworking lady and was a loving mother. She was a member of Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist Church since 1968 and retired from American Water Heater. Janet had also worked at several nursing homes over the years as a CNA. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memories include a niece, Ginger Robinson, of Elizabethton; and two nieces in Baltimore, Maryland. Also surviving are her best friends, Judy, Loretta and Sherry.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Janet Sue Rosenbaum will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021, in the Wilson Cemetery with Reverend Bill Greer and Pastor Steve Hillman officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of the Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist Church. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:15 p.m.
