According to a press release, Dr. William Armstrong has merged his long standing dental practice at 407 Hudson Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643 with Martin Dentistry.
 Patients of record will receive the following note from Dr. Armstrong: “To our valued patients and friends, I hope this letter finds you and your families well! 2020 was a challenging year for us all with COVID-19 significantly impacting all of our daily lives in so many ways.
 I am writing this letter to give you some exciting news for 2021 and the future. After many months of careful consideration, I have made the decision to merge my practice with Martin Dentistry effective 5/13/21. Martin Dentistry has been serving patients at the highest level of care since 1980 with offices in Kingsport, Johnson City, Colonial Heights, and now Elizabethton. They have the same commitment to excellent patient care that we have, and I am confident that this partnership will enhance your dental experience in many ways. You will see some new technology added to the practice such as digital x-rays, and we will also be expanding our network of insurance carriers to include MetLife, United Healthcare, Cigna, and Aetna in addition to our current in-network carriers BlueCross BlueShield and Delta Dental.
 
Dr.  Armstrong plans to continue seeing patients full-time, and his team will continue to provide you with the same great experience you have always had and more.
He is also happy to announce that Dr. Trey Lunsford will be joining our practice and will begin seeing patients in June. Dr. Lunsford is from the area and is returning home to raise his family in Elizabethton.
