To the Editor:
Thanks to the Elizabethton Star for the information about a new business now open in Elizabethton. The Birdhouse Studio is a place where you can see art with a unique twist. The studio adds creative art to old photos. There’s also a place for families to have pictures made using indoor and outdoor backdrops. They have the funniest art I have ever seen. The Bible says there is a time for laughter in Ecclesiastes 3. The Bible says laughter or a merry heart does good like medicine in Proverbs 17. Science has found the Bible correct and laughter lowers stress and strengthens the immune system.
I agree that art is important and needed. Art matters. Some people get painful artwork (tattoos) on themselves making their skin into a canvas. Having created everything from nothing, Jesus is the ultimate artist and the universe is His canvas. Jesus created the beauty of nature and millions go to the beaches or mountains to see it and experience it. Millions watched the beauty of the eclipse that crossed America in August 2017. Another eclipse crosses America in 2024 forming an X. This is a very bad sign of coming great judgment on America and the tribulation of Revelation!
Some people even wrongly worship nature. You won’t get eternal life by feeling God in nature or helping the environment, but only through a relationship with Jesus the artist and creator of nature who will change your nature. I saw a shirt that correctly said, “A blood donor saved me.” At the cross Jesus did to the highest degree what the classical artist said is required for great art which is to show truth, goodness and beauty with love, tying the three together. At the cross, Jesus gave us a portrait of his great love with his arms open wide to receive us if we put our trust in Jesus finished work on the cross only to pay our sin debt. On Good Friday, a day of creative brilliance surpassing all others, Jesus the ultimate artist completed on the cross his most priceless, bloody masterpiece for you!
