Lady Highlanders set for state play

The Lady Highlanders of Cloudland kick off play in the 2021 Class A Girls State Championship today at 12:30 pm EST at the Murphy Center on the campus of MIddle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. The Lady 'Landers defeated the Lady Indians of Oneida in the sectional to reach state play. Cloudland opens with Loretto in the opening round of Class A action with the winner advancing to take on the winner of Clay County and Peabody which is played prior to Cloudland's contest.

Cloudland fans come to their feet as the final seconds tick off in the Lady 'Landers win over Oneida. The Lady Highlanders go in search of a Class A state title beginning at 12:30 pm today at the Murphy Center on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University,

With a win, the Lady Highlanders advance to Friday's semifinal contest against the winner of Clay County and Peabody.

The Cloudland Lady Highlanders had a nice group of supporters for their sectional contest against Oneida and are sure to be well represented in Murfreesboro as the Lady 'Landers were scheduled to take on Loretto at 12:30 pm EST today in the opening round of the 2021 State Class A Girls Basketball Tournament at Middle Tennessee State University.

The 2021 State Basketball Tournament is back on after COVID-19 forced cancellation of last season's event. The Cloudland Lady Highlanders have signed their ticket to a Class A State appearance with a 50-46 win over a tough Oneida team on the road. Cloudland opens up play on Wednesday at 12:30 pm EST when they take on Loretto.
Today is a big day for the Cloudland Lady Highlanders and the Cloudland community as the 2020-2021 Lady Highlanders take to the floor inside the Murphy Center on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University against Loretto in the opening play of the 2021 Class A BlueCross State Championship.
Cloudland earned the trip on the heels of defeating the Oneida Lady Indians, 50-46, on the road at Oneida in the sectional contest.
The championships are back on after missing 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With a win today against Loretto, Cloudland would advance to play the winner of the Peabody and Clay County game which is played before the Lady ‘Landers take the floor.
Good luck to the Cloudland Lady Highlander players, coaches, managers, training staff, parents, and fans on their trek to Murfreesboro for the 2021 BlueCross State Championship.
