JOYCE ANNETTE (OLIVER) HEATON October 19, 1941 – January 29, 2021
 Joyce passed peacefully in her sleep on January 29, 2021, at the age of 79.
Joyce was born in Carter County, Tennessee on October 19, 1941. She was the middle child of Walter and Eva Pierce Oliver.  Joyce lived in Michigan for 30 years, retiring from Ford Motor Company and returning to her home on Stoney Creek in 1998.
Joyce was a devoted daughter, nurturing sister, a loving wife and a wonderful and proud mother not only to her own children but to all of their friends as well.
 Joyce was an avid reader, a friend of the library and a lifelong member of the Blue Springs Christian Church. Joyce rarely missed Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, was a master at crosswords and could solve any word puzzle.
 In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Ray Heaton and her brothers Ernest and Lester Oliver.
Joyce is survived and mourned by her brothers Ken (Donna) and Albert (Brenda) Oliver, her brother-in-law Jack Heaton, her sons Curtiss, Greg, Michael, her daughter Casie, her daughters-in-law Fran and Kelly and her son-in-law Terry. Joyce had 29 grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Jones, Ron Heaton, Travis (Alyssa) Heaton, Allison Heaton, Ethan Allen Heaton, Ethan Michael Heaton Lathrop, Jamie Norris, Stephen (Christina) Heaton, Jan (Duane) Setlock, Megan Heaton, Kristen (Chris) Johnson, Gregory S. Heaton, Dani (Cory) Heaton Salyer, Collin Heaton, Kelsey Heaton, Naomi Eberle, Eva Heaton, Barb Brogan, Nathan Taylor, Gwen Heaton, Marin Taylor, Clifford Deel and Leedy Taylor, as well as her 18 great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandson.
 In lieu of the flowers Joyce loved so much, donations may be made in Joyce’s name to the Tennessee Library for the Blind and Physically Disabled.
 Joyce will be greatly missed by her family, friends and church family.
