The Carter County Trustee’s Office will be closed Saturday, February 27th. An article which ran in the Wednesday, January 27th edition of the STAR incorrectly stated the office would be open February 27th for the payment of land taxes.
The last day for in office payments, to avoid interest fees, is Friday, February 26, 2021. For other payment options, please call 423-542-1811. The STAR regrets the error.
