Johnny B. Shell, 64, Roan Mountain, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Mae Shell, and by seven brothers and sisters.
Johnny was a former employee of Lakeshore Marina and also did carpenter work until he was disabled. He was a member of Sugar Hollow Freewill Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish and his favorite place to go was Little Wilbur Dam.
He is survived by his beloved partner of 45 years, Connie Winters; two brothers, special brother Jim Shell, and Lonnie Shell; and numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.

Johnny donated his body to science so others may live. At his request no service is planned.
