Tyler Montero “Rev.” Warren, 19, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021. He was born June 12, 2001 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. He had lived most of his life in Elizabethton.
Tyler attended Elizabethton High School his freshman and sophomore years where he played on the Cyclones Football Team. He graduated from Asbury Optional High School, Johnson City. He worked in construction work.
Tyler loved sports and loved to work out. He had plans to join the USMC. He was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Maude Warren, and his maternal grandparents, Billy and Blanche Berry Hardin and Clyde and Lillian Royston.
Survivors include his mother, Kristy Hardin; his father, Lee Lambert Warren Sr., Shelbyville, Tenn.; his siblings, Camrie Warren, Lee Warren Jr., Royal “Russ” Warren, Anaceah Warren and Isaiah Warren; his maternal grandparents, Roger and Linda Hardin; his paternal grandfather, Sonny Hall; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 17, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Kenneth Grindstaff officiating. Active pallbearers, who were requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, were Zachory Hartley, Carson Streseman, Zachary Webster, John Hardin, Aaron Warren, Jesse Warren, Bobby Shelton and Cameron Baker. Honorary pallbearers were The Elizabethton High School Coaches and Teams from 2015 to 2019. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” for his guardian Angel, Dominic Davidson. Friends registered their presence at the funeral home from 12 noon until 5 p.m. Saturday and at the funeral home Sunday morning. Family and friends assembled at the funeral home at 1:20 p.m. Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Tyler Warren Funeral Expenses-gofundme.com.
