First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have an online worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.
Dr. Robert Lowry will present a message titled “Greetings, Favored One” based on Luke 1: 26-38.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will meet online this week.
All in-person events remain cancelled until further notice.
First Christian
During the COVID-19 pandemic, First Christian Church, Elizabethton, is providing several different kinds of services.
Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m., there will be an “in-person” service in the sanctuary in addition to a parking lot service, which those participating can tune in to at 90.5 FM on their car radio. Also, the Sunday morning service will be posed on the Facebook page Sunday evening.
Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 6 p.m. there will be a fireside chat with elders and minister. “We look forward to seeing our church family and new faces as well,” said Michael Klaus, minister.
Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have an in-car service at 10 a.m. Sunday in the church fellowship parking lot.
Minister Brett Jones will present the message.
Those attending can tune in to 89.7 FM to listen. Also, those attending are asked to stay in their cars.
