To the Editor:
I would like to thank the top officials in Washington, DC, for taking all the extra needed steps to foil efforts by Russia, China, and other foreign countries for possible interference in our election like was done in 2016. Many extra security measures were taken to stop their cyber interference.
I would like to thank the state and local election commissions for following proper procedures with extra scrutiny regarding all cast ballots, whether by absentee, early voting, or those cast on election day at polling sites. Warned by those at the top, extra steps were taken to assure the vote and make this election the most secure in USA history.
I would like to thank the courts for dismissing the frivolous lawsuits seeking to invalidate the 2020 election. I would like to thank the courts for ruling for dismissal due to the fact that no credible evidence was presented to reverse the election results. I would like to thank the justice system for working just like it is supposed to work.
For all those who worked, using secure methods to prove the legitimacy of our 2020 election, I thank you. You preserved our democracy. We still have a few more steps to prevent interference by groups that want to rule our country and destroy its freedoms, right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but with God’s help, and the wisdom of those who care for our country, we will survive. intact. I thank those who recognized that we could lose our country to those who want to dictate, and take away those freedoms our forefathers wanted for us, and voted accordingly in this 2020 election. Once again, I thank you, citizens, for voting with your wisdom in recognizing what we could have lost, and with your vote we prevailed against dictatorship and tyranny.

Sincerely,
Janet Hyder, President
Carter County Democratic Women
