JACKSON (AP) — A member of a Tennessee drug distribution ring that sold pounds of crystal methamphetamine during a one-year-period has been sentenced to life in federal prison.
Christopher Faulcon, 35, pleaded guilty in November 2018 to conspiracy to distribute crystal meth, also known as “ice.” He was sentenced Wednesday in Jackson, the U.S. attorney’s office said.
Faulcon, whose nickname is “Wheezy,” and six others were charged with conspiracy to distribute meth in February 2018. Two other defendants have been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Investigators said the drug trafficking organization sold more than 14 kilograms (30 pounds) of meth, mostly in the Dyersburg area, during a one-year-period starting in early 2017.
Agents bought drugs from members and completed search warrants at homes, a stash house and a storage unit. They also searched Facebook and text messages, prosecutors said.
A city of about 16,000 people, Dyersburg is located about 75 miles (120 kilometers) north of Memphis.
